“Rocky Mountain Pies” is a Dessert Pie Manufacturing Co. headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In our earlier years we pioneered the Marie Callender Pie Restaurant/Bakery Shops in Utah, Idaho, Washington, New Mexico and Southern California when “Pie for Dessert” & “Take A Pie Home” was a fresh and popular idea. Our Rocky Mountain team also introduced a unique pie technique to the in-store-bake niche of the Super Market industry when we stared “Western Country Pies” in the early 1990’s. We were successful for many years under this well know industry proven name.
Good pie, which must include tender flaky pastry, will always be the “Grand Old American Way” but they have to be made the “Grand Old Way.” We’re skilled and seasoned enough to think we qualify. We’ll leave it to you to decide.
- We’re a scratch bakery & maintain that some of the older techniques still work in this high tech environment.
- We flavor, spice and blend I.Q.F. fruit in our own slurry formula.
- Rocky Mountain merinque pies are peaked by hand, giving them a real authentic home made look.
- Our splendid V.I.P “Very Impressive Pies” are handsome, to say the least. Our hand finished lattice tops are
a very distinctive dessert center piece.
- All our Pies are package in a clear plastic dome with a black bottom base, ready to thaw and sell. This
packaging gives your pie display area a high class and distinguished look.
- Each of our Master cartons contain two labels for each pie, one for the top of the dome or box which includes
the variety and individual weight. The bottom label contains the ingredient and nutritional statments and UPC
code allowing easy scanning. We also offer a private label program.
